knitting
Knitting is the practice of connecting or knotting a number of loops created by a single continuous thread using long needles. When enough loops have been produced, a flat piece of cloth known as a textile is the result. Each loop or knot joins to another one.

In textile industry, knitted fabric is formed on knitting machines which may hold from several hundred to several thousand knitting needles. The yarn is first placed into the knitting machine creels as part of the process flow for knitting textiles. Following that, the yarn is fed through a knitting machine where it is knitted into a greige cloth and wound onto a roll. The greige fabric is then examined for flaws or imperfections. Finally, after passing inspection, it moves on to the next step.
